E.F. John "Pip" Rickman, age 81, of Coshocton, died peacefully at home with his family on Monday, September 11, 2017. He was born on September 25, 1935 to the late Ernest and Phyllis Rickman in Baddesley, England. John was part of the Royal Army of England from 1951 to 1954.

John was an avid golfer and woodworker. He was a member of the AMVETS, American Legion, and the Army Navy. John was quite the character and enjoyed life and will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Barbara Hill; son Martin (Carol) Rickman of England and daughter, Sara Sherin of England; four grandchildren, Jack Rickman, Caluum, Joe, and Maisie Sherin, all of England; step-son, Greg (Tracy) Hill of Huntsburg, Ohio and two step-grandchildren, Hannah and Seth Hill both of Huntsburg, Ohio.

Per John's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at South Lawn Cemetery with Deacon Doug Mould officiating.
